Not less than 6,767 aspirants today appeared in the preliminary exams for 30 civil service and 10 public service posts conducted by Tripura Public Service Commission.
Speaking to this correspondent, sources in the exam conducting body said, it is for the first time we have set up an exam venue in Ambassa and it recorded the highest number of presence of the enrolled candidates.
This year, he added, a total of 4 exam centers were set up—Agartala, Ambassa, Kailasahar and Udaipur with 22 exam venues in Agartala, 2 in Udaipur, 2 in Kailasahar and 1 in Ambassa.
On total number of aspirants, he said, the number of enrolled students was 9,287 and the number of students who appeared the exam was recorded 6,767. In present percentage, Ambassa center topped whereas Udaipur came last.
On the results, he said, soon the tentative answer key will be uploaded in the website and the results will be published as per the usual course.
