TBJEE results declared; Subhrajit Saha tops PCM, Subahsis Biswas top in PCB

Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination on Tuesday published the results of this year’s examinations. Altogether 3,869 students applied in both PCM (Physics Chemistry and Mathematics) and PCB (Physics Chemistry and Biology).

In PCM the number of appearers stood at 1,245 whereas in PCB 2,383 students wrote the papers. In the PCM group, Subhajit Saha secured the top rank followed by Subhasish Biswas and Arkadip Sen.

In the PCB group, Subhasish Biswas retained the first position followed by Akash Debnath and Swarnali Majumder.

Nath also said, “we have approached both Tripura and MBB Universities to increase 10 percent of the total seats in various courses in order to meet the demand. Since many students are not going outside for further studies the demand for seats are higher in local universities. We are indebted to assure seats for each and every student”.

He added that there were altogether 54,075 total seats in all the colleges across the state. Phase wise online admission process was under progress and it would continue for sometime even after Puja.
