The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) announced the results of the 2025 Joint Entrance Examination today in a press conference held at the conference hall of the Tripura Higher Education Department.
Dr. Prithvijyoti Bhowmik, Secretary of the Board, declared the results and provided key details regarding this year's examination.
Deepjoy Das, a student of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, North Tripura, has emerged as the topper in the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) group. Trisrota Das of Hindi Higher Secondary School secured the second position, followed by Arnab Nath from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kherengjuri, in third place.
In the PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) group, Ananya Debnath of Sri Krishna Mission Vidyalaya clinched the top rank. Saptadeep Pal of Shishu Bihar Vidyalaya and Debaprasad Saha, also of Sri Krishna Mission Vidyalaya, secured the second and third positions respectively.
A total of 5,296 students registered for this year’s Joint Entrance Examination, with 2,511 male and 2,785 female candidates. Of these, 2,248 students registered in the PCM group and 4,652 in the PCB group. The examination saw 1,989 students appear in the PCM category and 4,332 in the PCB category.
Dr. Bhowmik informed that successful candidates will be eligible for admission to around 1,500 seats across various educational institutions both within and outside the state.
The examination was conducted across 15 centres in 8 districts of Tripura. TBJEE Chairman Dr. Shubhdeep Pal and Board member Professor Sanjay Mitra were also present at the press conference.
