Sachak Club of Kailashahar has appeared 33rd year of organizing Durgapuja this year. The club authority has constructed an imaginary temple to worship Maa Durga beside the road at tri- junction of Kailashahar- Dharmanagar and Kumarghat. The puja budget of the club is Rs. 7 lakh.
The youths of Bishnupriya Manipuri community have founded the club to conduct social service in the area. Large number of people belong to Bishnupriya Community are dwelling at Chirakuti, Kirtantali, Tilakpur and Goladharpur area.
The youths of this area are dominating at the club. Local youth Debraj Sinha has prepared the imaginary temple. Raju Malakar has made the idol for the club. Uttam Sinha will control lighting at pandal. Prasad will be distributed among devotees on the day of Ashtami puja.
A colourful cultural programme will be organized with local artists and artists from out of the state at night on Nabami and Dashami puja. The club will not organize any programme of social service as it continues social services all over the year.

Rajasthan mine accident: Eight of 15 trapped employees rescued
Eight of the 15 employees, including vigilance officers and workers of Hindustan Copper Ltd, who were trapped at 1,875 ft in a mine at Kolihan near Khetri in Rajasthan's Neem Ka thana district, were rescued on Wednesday, said officials here, adding that the operation was underway and soon others will be taken out.
