When the ruling CPI-M and its Left front government has been marking its line by stressing on its movements decade ago, the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh who arrived here at Tripura’s capital town on Saturday evening to launch Saffron’s poll campaign, on Sunday said, “The rail connectivity in Tripura has been growing fast under the Modi government at the centre.”
He said, “The BJP led government at the centre had contemplated to bring in Trans-Asian rail connectivity in Tripura where very soon train shall depart for Kolkata from Agartala via neighbouring Bangladesh.”
“The centre has also floored adequate funds for upgrading the existing Agartala airport into international airport, “adding to this Rajnath alleged, “The 24 years rule of the Left in Tripura has failed to implement the centre’s project here.”
Rajnath later in his campaign speech said, “When the entire is moving fast the Left front government headed by Manik Sarkar is moving back-track and has been cheating the people and government employees of this state.”
He assured, “If the BJP forms government in Tripura the government employees shall het the 7th pay commission.”
Rajnath was addressing at Agartala Khudiram Bose Higher Secondary School ground at Banamalipur in the BJP state president Biplab Deb’s constituency on Sunday evening.
