Radhacharan lays foundation stone of 3 projects at G’cherra

GANDACHERRA:

Administrative authority of ADC is continuing the initiative of developing health, education, supply of pure drinking water and road within limited financial capability, said CEM Radhacharan Debbarma while laying foundation stone of Anandamohan Roaja English MediumSchool and Haripur S.B School at Gandacherra on June 30.

Referring ADC is spending highest amount for education and infrastructure development he appealed all to raise voice against effort of disturbing peace and to join hand in development. He said an amount of Rs 2 crore will be spent to construct both the schools.

Among others Executive Member of Education Rajendra Reang said, ADC and State Government spend 40 percent for education while the country is spending 20 percent for same purpose. Besides, Executive Member of Agriculture Pratiram Tripura also delivered speech on the occasion.

Moreover, CEM of ADC laid foundation stone of Amulyadhan Para J.B. School at Naikacherra in Gandacherra on July 1. EM Rejendra Reang and Pratiram Tripura were also present on the occasion.

CEM also laid foundation stone of Tuichakma Market Shed at Gandacherra on same day in presence of Chief Executive Officer of ADC Dr. Sandip R. Rathore and SDM of Gandacherra Gobekar Mayur Ratilal.

SC orders release of NewsClick editor in UAPA case

The Supreme Court on Wednesday ordered the release of NewsClick founder and editor-in-chief Prabir Purkayastha, who was arrested by the Delhi Police under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act over allegations that the media outlet received money to spread pro-China propaganda.
