The elections for the District Presidents of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Tripura are scheduled to be held on January 20. Nominations and scrutiny will take place on January 19, as per an official order issued by the State Returning Officer, Samarendra Chandra Deb.
According to the notification, the elections will be conducted in the respective BJP District Offices across the state. All concerned party members have been urged to actively participate in the Sangathan Parv election process to elect their District Presidents.
The schedule outlined in the notification states that nominations can be submitted on January 19 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the designated District Offices. The scrutiny of nominations will commence immediately afterward at 1:00 PM. The voting and declaration of results are slated for January 20.
Nomination forms can be collected from the designated officers at the district offices and must be submitted in the prescribed format within the given timeframe. The decision of the designated officer regarding the scrutiny process and election results will be considered final.
The notification further mentioned that any disputes or grievances related to the election process should be submitted in writing to the Returning Officer via email.
