With counting hours left for the 2018 Tripura Assembly polls which is scheduled to be held on February 18 the poll personnel’s have already started moving to their polling stations from Saturday.
The vote cast across 3214 polling station to begin from morning 7 am and for the first time VVPATs are bring used for conducting 2018 Tripura Assembly election. What makes Tripura Assembly 2018 election unique is that for the first time 47 solely women-run polling stations will be operated on February 18.
Meanwhile the poll personnel’s have already collected their poll materials from the strong room and have moved ahead towards their stations to conduct a free and fair election on February 18.
It is to be mentioned here that all the 3214 polling stations were equipped with basic amenities including an installation of ramp, electricity, water supply and toilet facilities.
The EVMs has been already commissioned and have been checked and verified again in front of the poll observers and the functions of polling machines is also explained to representatives of candidates and already transported them to polling booths.
