PM Modi in Tripura pitches to ‘remove’ Left and opts for ‘Hira’

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi who arrived here at the state on Thursday to address the saffron’s campaign rally at Sonamura  - the southern part of Tripura accused the ruling government of the Communist Party of India and Marxist (CPI-M) of hiding ‘corruption’ for the last 25 years.

“For the last 25 years under the rule of Left front government here, corruptions are being hidden under the ‘white’ kurtas,” adding PM Modi indirectly hitting Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar said, “Despite being deep necked in corruption, showing bank accounts and white kurtas world wide the Left has passed its 25 years of tenure.”

PM Modi said, “People of this state are deprived from minum wages under the 25 years rule of CPI-M government here.”

“The common people of this state are simply under the grip of magician rule  - ‘Maya Jadu’ – as termed by PM,” he said while addressing the giant gathering at Sonamura.

The Prime Minister however urged upon the people of this state to remove Manik Sarkar government and instead opt for “Hira (diamond)”. “The H in Hira stands for Highway, the I for I-way (digital connectivity) ,R for Roadway, and A for airway,” PM said.

He said, “This ensuing assembly election is the battle between the Left and common people.” Adding to this PM who praised the Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya – princely ruler of Tripura for his exclusive developmental focus and target said, “The people of Tripura shall see absolute developmental pace very soon.”

The prime minister Narendra Modi has landed at Agartala airport this morning and headed immediately for Sonamura by a chopper to address a mammoth rally in support of party candidates in four assembly constituencies of the subdivision.
