Our correspondent from Teliamura added that one Congress worker injured seriously by the incident of ransacking house, setting fire at house and bike as a part of post poll violence at Teliamura today.
He is under treatment at G.B. Hospital at present. Sources said that some miscreants under shelter of BJP are behind the incident.
Sources said that the miscreants attacked at house of Bibhas Saha in drunken condition in broad daylight at Shantinagar who joined Congress from CPM recently. They ransacked the house and injured Bibhas seriously. Later he was shifted to G.B. Hospital.
In another incident a group of miscreants set fire house of Subir Sen who is Local Secretary of CPM at Netaji nagar. They also burned his bike. On being informed police reached at the spot but failed to control the miscreants. The incident created panic among common people.
Our correspondent from Khowai added that some miscreants set fire at a bike at Khowai – Kamalpur Road. On being informed the Fire Service rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.
