One middle aged person ran over by the passenger train at Shalgara of Udaipur when the train was proceeding from Agartala to Udaipur in the evening today.
Sources said that Ramu Das (40) son of Babul Das ran over by the Agartala – Udaipur Passenger train at Shalgara when the train was on the way to Udaipur Station. Recovering the body on the line local people stopped the train when it was coming back towards Agartala.
Later police rushed to the spot and sent the body to the morgue of District Hospital for post mortem. As a result the train arrived late in Agartala today.
Sources said that the person was mentally retarded.
