A 23-year-old man was killed today due to lightening. The name of the deceased youth is Amal Krishna Tripura. Age 23 years.
The incident took place in Rajban Para of Mohini Nagar ADC Village under the Belonia police station.
Sources said that today morning he went to work in the rubber plantation like the other day. Local rushed near Amal when they heard a loud sound and found him lying unconscious on the ground.
Locals and family members rushed him to Matai Primary Health Centre. The doctor on duty there declared him dead. The doctor said Amal Krishna Tripura died on the spot. His dead body has been kept in the Belonia hospital morgue for post-mortem examination. After the post-mortem, the body will be handed over to the family.
