The District Session Court Belonia today convicted one Lafruchai Mog (22) in a two year old rape case and sentenced him life time rigorous imprisonment.
Reportedly, Lafruchai raped a specially impaired minor girl at Kalshi under Biakhora police station on May 28, 2016 last. However, the Court today found the accused guilty and accordingly sent him for lifelong imprisonment.
Speaking to the media persons, Public Prosecutor Aktar Hossain said, the Court had recorded statements of 20 witnesses in the near two year long proceedings and finally convicted the accused.
