Jishnu opens Domestic Line Gas project in Gomati inaugurated by PM

UDAIPUR:

The country will get real independence if each and every mother and sister of the country become self reliant. Development is possible if government and society work together, said Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma during his speech while Prime Minister inaugurated Domestic Line Gas Distribution at 65 places of 17 states including Gomati District through video conferencing today. The programme inaugurated in the state at Rajarshi Kalakshetra of Udaipur today. 

Deputy Chief Minister attended the programme as Chief Guest in presence of Chairman of TIDC Tinku Roy, MLA Biplab Ghosh, DM of Gomati district T.K. Debnath, MD of TNGCL and many other dignitaries.

After completion of the project in Gomati district, it will begin at Khowai district. An amount of Rs. 600 crore will be spent for the project and about 1500 unemployed youths will get scope of employment under the project.

A target has been fixed up to complete the project within 5 years.

For the first time Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered speech on the occasion in front of people of Gomati district through video conferencing. The programme created lot of enthusiasm among the people. The spectators welcomed Prime Minister by clapping as soon as the speech of Prime Minister started. Here the people of the district were encouraged by the project of domestic gas connection of TNGCL.

Speaking on the occasion Deputy Chief Minister termed the present government as government for people. Criticizing the previous government he said, the government was failure because it failed to provide facilities to people. Referring the students are the future of the state he stressed on setting up industry for their employment along with providing them good education. He said, the present government is working on that target.
