Keeping parity with entire world International Yoga Day observed at Sabroom with lot of enthusiasm today. On the occasion Yoga and Pranayam camp organized with initiative of Patanjali Yog Samiti and Bharat Swabhiman Trust at Sri Sri Loknath Seva Mandir since 5 a.m.
The central programme of the subdivision was organized at the ground of Sabroom H.S. School. Students of different schools and BSF jawans participated in yoga performance in presence of SDM Biplab Das, teacher Dipak Das, Samir Dutta and Sports and Youth Affairs president of Nagar Panchayat Timir Baran Chakma. Chairperson of the Nagar Panchayat Ruma Majumder Basak inaugurated the programme. Besides, Yoga Day observed at Manubazar, Kalachera and other schools with initiative of school authority and voluntary organizations.
Our correspondent added from Teliamura that International Yoga Day organized at the premises of Chaitanya Ashram today with initiative of Youth and Sports Affairs department, Teliamura Municipal Council, R.D. Block and Teliamura Subdivision Administration in the morning today. MLA Kalyani Roy inaugurated the programme.
Students of different schools and local people participated in Yoga performance in presence of SDM Jayanta Dey and ADM of Khowai Uttam Mandal.
Besides, head of Santi Kali Ashram Chittaranjan Debbarma inaugurated programme of Yoga Day at the premises of Town Hall with initiative of Tripura Charitable Health Society. The day was also observed at government and non- government schools.
Meanwhile Dhalai District level International Yoga Day organized at the premises of TRTC Stand today. Sabhadhipati of Dhalai Zila Parishad Parimal Chandra Das inaugurated the programme in presence of Panchayat Samiti Chairman Tapati Bhattacharjee, DM of Dhalai district Bikash Singh, ADM Dilip Kumar Chakma, SDM J.D. Doati and students of different schools. Officials of different departments, employees and local people were participated in presentation of yoga and pranayam along with school students.
International Yoga Day also observed with pomp and gaiety at the Mini Stadium of Bishramganj with initiative of Youth Affairs and Sports department in Sipahijala District today. BAC Chairman of Charilam Rajib Debbarma inaugurated the programme in presence of DM Manik Lal Das. District Education Officer Habul Lodh, teachers of different schools and officials of Youth Affairs and Sports department. About 900 students from different schools of the district participated in performance of Yoga.
