Himanta releases joint statement of BJP-IPFT alliance in wake of poll

AGARTALA:

Ahead of the assembly election for state’s 60 assembly constituencies, the Assam Finance Minister and the Tripura election in-charge Himanta Biswa Sharma on Wednesday released the joint statement forged among the BJP and the IPFT.

Sharma in a press conference today said, “The state has no idea of accepting the demand of separate state rather it focused mainly on development of socio, economic and cultural structure of the tribal people of this state.”

“The TTAADC in Tripura shall also be empowered, “informed Himanta while releasing the cardinal principles of BJP-IPFT today.

However, lambasting upon the Left front government, Himanta alleged, “The 25 years’ misrule of the Left front government of this state has deprived the tribals at large.”

He later informed, “The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath shall be arriving here at the state on February 11 as a start campaigner to bring yet another mileage for the party.”
