Ratan Lal Nath, the Power Minister of Tripura, led a crucial review meeting to guarantee continuous power supply during the ongoing election period. Under his guidance, officials were directed to intensify efforts to prevent any power outages across the state.
Conducting the meeting via video conference with the Managing Director of Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited (TSECL) and district officials, Minister Nath emphasized the urgency of the situation, urging all staff to remain on duty until the election process concludes.
Acknowledging the challenges posed by the monsoon and natural calamities, particularly in Sepahijala and Unakoti Districts, Nath instructed officials to expedite necessary work to address these issues promptly. A virtual meeting was convened to ensure swift action, with a specific focus until the 30th of the month, aligning with the electoral priorities. Additionally, he stressed the importance of avoiding any station leave during this critical period.
Furthermore, Nath directed two private agencies responsible for power operations in Tripura to heighten their focus and commitment to ensure seamless service delivery across the state.
"We are dedicated to improving service standards statewide. In light of the elections, we have implemented specific measures and conducted a thorough review," concluded Minister Nath.
