Tripura police has on today disposed Brown Sugar worth Rs 20 lakh at Bodhjungnagar of Agartala. Altogether 470 gram of Brown Sugar has been destroyed by the police after obtaining disposal order from Court.
Speaking to media DIG Tripura Police Gourab Chakraborty said, “Actually, these contraband items were seized in the month of July at Dhalai district. Particularly by a PS staff of Ambassa police station. And today after obtaining Court order we are destroying actually we had already destroyed nearly 470 gram of Brown Sugar. And it's present market value is above 20 lakh”
