Looting of fund and smuggling of trees by cutting down from forest are going on at full swing under Forest department of Gandacherra subdivision. The lower and higher officials of Forest department are directly involved with forest smugglers.
Sources from Gandacherra informed that DFO allegedly passed order of cutting valuable trees of forest to forest smugglers in exchange of fund without any investigation.
According to sources DFO of the subdivision gave order to Brinda Laxmi Tripura wife of Datri Rai Tripura for cutting valuable trees from two khas land in exchange of Rs. 2 lakh at Ulta cherra Mouja.
Meanwhile local people expressed resentment against DFO for providing plot permit of two Mujas.
Forest department source said that DFO is favouring some outsider forest smugglers and helping to cut down valuable trees from the forest during mid night. The incident also created resentment among the staffs of Forest department.
Besides, local people raised question how Tahashil department of SDM approved order of cutting trees from khas land.

Rajasthan mine accident: Eight of 15 trapped employees rescued
