Keeping an eye on the ensuing Tripura Assembly election, CPI-(ML) on Tuesday in a press meet declared the names of the candidates to contest the 2018 Tripura Assembly election and also releases party's vision document. The party head of the CPI-(ML) has nominated the names of the candidates into 5 assembly constituencies.
The party along with the names has also given the symbols along for identification. The names of the candidates who will be contesting are mentioned below.

Some 297 candidates, including 20 women, are in the fray for the February 18 Tripura Assembly polls.
Tripura Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sriram Taranikanti mentioned that 320 candidates had submitted their nominations out of which candidatures of 13 were cancelled.
