CPI-M in Tripura says only BJP-ruled state in India where oppositions have no rights

AGARTALA:

The opposition CPI-M party on Saturday marched on a rally here at Agartala to show protest against poll violence across the state.

The rally was joined by senior party leaders and while addressing the mass gathering in the rally CPI-M west Tripura candidate Sankar Prasad Dutta alleged that Tripura is the only state in India where the oppositions were not allowed to campaign for Lok Sabha election putting the democracy under threat. Mr. Dutta however accused the ruling BJP party on this.    

Meantime, joining this protest rally on Saturday senior party leader also the former deputy speaker Pabitra Kar alleged that acting on the direction of Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb who also holds the home port folio Police is avoiding the arrest of BJP goons who are discovering attacks upon the CPI-M party supporters.
