Following the instructions of the Government of India, the Covid vaccine dry run will be held on January 8 at 13 places in Unakoti district.
District Surveillance Officer Doctor Shankha Shuvro Debnath said this at the office of the District Chief Health Officer today. Preparations for this have started in the designated places of Unakoti district. Already the District Chief Health Officer and the District Surveillance Officer have visited these selected places in phases.
The program will be held on January 8 at ten more primary health centers, including Unakoti District Hospital, RGM Sub-Divisional Hospital, Kumarghat Community Health Center.
Each session site has 25 beneficiaries under this dry run. In order to avoid any inconvenience while administering the actual vaccine, this dry run will be held. In this case, no vaccine will be given but all other procedures will be followed.
