Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Friday casted his vote and appeals for ensuring peaceful voting across the state.
Interacting with the reporters after casting his vote, Dr Saha ruled out the opposition’s allegation of poll rigging and said that the election commission has made all necessary arrangements to conduct a free and fair poll.
He said, “People of Tripura had witnessed a complete free and fair and violence free poll in the last 2023 assembly election in Tripura. I do believe that this time too, peaceful voting will be ensured.”
Dr Saha called upon the Election Commission to take necessary action if any irregularities were observed.
