Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Thursday paid a visit to the ongoing special COVID vaccination drive programme for the teens aged between 15 to 18 years at Gomati district of the state.
Deb today visited the different vaccination centers in the district and said that 15-18 year old children would be brought under immunization expeditiously through this special immunization program from January 19-21, 2022.
The Chief Minister called upon the parents to immunize the children of the concerned age in the immunization program that is being carried out in the health centers as well as in the immunization programs organized in different schools.
The Chief Minister visited three immunization centers in Gomati district today including Bhagini Nivedita Balika Higher Secondary School, Kirit Bikram Institute, and Matabari Higher Secondary School.
During his visit to the COVID Vaccination Centers, the Chief Minister exchanged views with the students. He exchanged views on the revision of the National Education Policy, reading, various educational topics as well as current affairs. The Chief Minister also spoke to the teachers of the school on that day.
