I will pray to the mother to make the upcoming days joyous and luminous to make the state corruption free, addiction free and woman atrocity free, said Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb while inaugurating three days Diwali Mela at Udaipur Matabari today in presence of Chief Guest and Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Devvarman, Guest of Honour minister N.C. Debbarma, Tourism minister Pranajit Sinha Roy, MLA Biplab Kumar Ghosh, MLA Rampada Jamatia.
Besides, Chief Secretary L. K. Gupta and DGP A.K Sukla were present on the Dias as special guest.
Speaking on the occasion Chief Minister prayed blessings Mata Tripureswari to make the state a model state within next three years. Referring Central Government approved Rs. 35 crore to Tourism department for development of Tripureswari Mandir he said almighty mother never wants anything, instead She offers everything for her children.
Emphasizing on necessity of spiritual tourism in the state he said, “such tourism is already prevailing at some states of our country. As a result the states succeeded to develop tourism.”
Referring Tripureswari temple is one among 51 sacred Peethas of India he said Mata Tripureswari Trust has decided to build up 50 Peetha Sthans on the bank of Kalyan Sagar. As a result devotees will be able to visit 51 Peethas by visiting Matabari which in turn increase interest of tourists towards Matabari. At the same time interest of people will increase for Buddha sculptures of Pilak, Boxanagar, Chabimura and Neer Mahal .
Criticizing Left Front on failing to introduce pre-paid service in 25 years he said, our government introduced the service through on line while Left Front encouraged Dadagiri at the Airport. He cautioned to stop such attitude all over the state.
In context of E- Rickshaw Chief Minister said, Cabinet has decided to introduce license, tax and insurance for e- rickshaws for safety of passengers.
Criticizing Left Front for absence of good manners during last 25 years Chief Minister advised all to shun negative mentality and to cooperate State Government to serve tourists with an attitude of “Atithi Debo Bhava”.
At the same time Chief Minister thanked Prime Minister of Bangladesh for opening Chittagong Sea Port for the state which would develop the state and to build up friendly relation with Bangladesh.
Chief Minister assured that small ships will enter in the state at Sonamura through Gomati river within next 6 months which would help to transport cement, rods and stone chips at low cost.
Chief Minister also mentioned about transparency of present government for employment of teachers in the state.
Among others minister N.C. Debbarma, Tourism minister Pranajit Sinha Roy delivered speeches.
For the first time Ganga Arati organized at Kalyan Sagar with the beating of 51 pairs Dhakis.
Meanwhile the devotees from in and out of the state expressed strong resentment as DM fixed net surrounding banks of Kalyansagar. Because the devotees failed to take rest on the bank of the lake when they became tired after visiting the temple and fair. The puja of Mata Tripureswari started at 5 a.m. through Chandipath. The fair will continue till November 8.
In the meantime people face lot of suffering as traffic imposed No Entry before three hours of inaugural ceremony. Besides, muddy roads in rain caused lot of suffering for devotees.
