Another truck driver of the state murdered at Assam yesterday. Sources said that body of truck driver Ramchandra Rudapal was found at Karimganj of Assam who was the inhabitant of Naisongcherra village in Dhalai district. Police recovered the body.
Sources said that Ramchandra went to Assam with 12 wheeler truck (AS 01GC -4357). But he failed to come back alive. Unknown miscreants killed him brutally by sharp cutting weapon. But police failed to seek out the persons involved with the murder.
Sources said that Ramchandra talked with his wife through phone on day before yesterday. At that time he was under Katua Police Station area of Karimganj. His wife gave this information. Since then Ramchandra had no connection with house. Immediately the family members filed case at the police station.
Later Manu Police Station informed the missing report to all police stations of the state and some police stations of Assam. Then search started. Later his body found at Karimganj yesterday. On being informed about the lorry of Ramchandra Police of Churaibari and Incharge of Assam Supriyo Bhattacharjee took the lorry to Assam Police Station and the body was taken to Karimganj Police Station. At present Karimganj Police Station is investigating the case.
