BJP appeals to save Tripura by defeating CPM

GANDACHERRA:

The State Government has not ensured security of democracy in Tripura. What is the value of such government in the state, said State In-charge of BJP Sunil Deodhar during his speech in the rally organized with initiative of 44 -Raimavalley Gandacherra Pradesh BJP nearby main road adjacent to PWD office today.

Speaking on the occasion Deodhar came down heavily on activities of CPI-M at Gandacherra. He raised question why the state government did not conduct proper investigation after death of BJP Upjati Janamorcha leader Chan Mohan Tripura, CPI-M MLA Ananda Roaja and his son Gamanjoy Tripura.

Referring allegation of CPI-M MLA Lalit Mohan Tripura that centre is not providing works for the state he said, ask your Chief Minister to give proper accounts of MNREGA allotment. He also criticized the State Government for lack of proper investigation after murder of Journalist Santanu Bhowmik and raised question why the government is deficient in conducting proper investigation for most of the murder cases in the state.

Deodhar wanted to know how many works completed at Raimavalley during 25 years rule of Left Front. He further added, investigation will be conducted for all corruptions in 2018 which are being suppressed now. He appealed to the tribal people to save Tripura by uprooting rule of CPI-M.

Sources said that large number of people gathered in the rally in presence of local leaders of BJP and Morcha.

SC orders release of NewsClick editor in UAPA case

The Supreme Court on Wednesday ordered the release of NewsClick founder and editor-in-chief Prabir Purkayastha, who was arrested by the Delhi Police under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act over allegations that the media outlet received money to spread pro-China propaganda.
