Lambasting upon the political speech of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, the ruling CPI-M state secretary Bijan Dhar alleged, “How could Modi speaks of getting ‘Hira’ for Tripura when over 5 lakhs diamond makers in his own state Gujrat lost job after the demonetisation.”
Pointing out some key issues in PM Modi’s speech, Dhar alleged, “The Prime Minister has assured of implementing 7th central pay commission if it comes to power here in Tripura, but the fact is despite several persuasion from the Left front government, the centre has not increased the budgetary allocation for this state to get the 7th central pay commission implemented for the government employees.”
Referring to the assurance made by the PM Modi during his first ever political rally in Tripura’s two separate districts on Thursday, Dhar questioned, “The PM Modi has made several assurances to the nation prior forming government at the centre, but till date what the BJP led government did for the poor class of the people of the nation?”
“The PM Modi has simply fooled the people of the nation and worked for the corporates,” adding Dhar alleged, “The BJP is now trying to capture the Tripura by hatching conspiracy against the Left.”
Later, expressing his concern over the arrest of one arms smuggler with three .22 pistols and 500 live rounds from Tripura Sundari express train in Agartala on Friday morning, Dhar claimed that BJP supporters, specially outsiders, are now trying to disturb the peaceful environment of the state.
