Chief Justice of Tripura High Court Sanjay Karol today assured that the High Court of Tripura would always work forward to meet the challenges that judicial institutions were facing in the state.
Inaugurating the official website and logo of Tripura Bar Council, he said, it is indeed an historic day for the state and a step ahead for the Bar. “The Bar and the Bench are two wheels of the same chariot” and according to the institutional framework both are inseparable parts each other, he added.
Drawing his attention on the challenges, he said, of course there are certain challenges in terms of judicial proceedings and administration and assured that all these things would be met in day to day basis.
“I have travelled throughout the state with my brother judges and will continue this until I hold this august office to understand the socio-economic condition of the state and the working condition of the district courts spread all over” he told the gathering of Bar council members.
Lauding work of the lawyers and the Bar he said, “When I visited the state for the first time, the then Chief Justice of Tripura High Court Justice Deepak Gupta told me about the integrity, majesty and strength of the Bar and in my personal experience I found everything very true” he added.
Among the others, Justice Subhasish Talaptra, Justice Arindam Lodh, Advocate General Arun Kanti Bhowmik, Chairman Bar Council Advocate Pradyot Kumar Dhar also remained present in the function.
Notably, Chairman of Bar Council Pradyot Dhar delivered the welcome address whereas advocate Kakali Deb quoted the vote of thanks.
