Amit Shah accuses Left in Tripura of looting central fund

AGARTALA:

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Amit Shah today accused the Manik Sarkar government in Tripura of 'looting' central fund. "Despite the BHP led government at the centre has floored crores of fund to Tripura, the Left front government has fooled the people of this state blaming the centre," alleged Amit Shah.

He alleged, "Rs. 18000 crore has been floored for Tripura under the 14th Finance Commission, but the fund has not reached the common people of this state, rather the fund has been looted among communist cadres."

Amit Shah was addressing a party rally at Mohanpur sub-division today and he arrived here at the state last night.

In his speech, Amit Shah also hit out at congress and alleged, "Despite knowing the fact that the Sonia Gandhi led congress cannot do anything for the development of this state, the party is contesting this election." Adding to this he said, "The congress is contesting this election simply to save the communist here by cutting the anti-Left votes."

He further alleged, "The people of the state, especially the poor section are deprived at large under the 25 years mis-rule of the Left front government."

Amit Shah later wooed the voters today urged upon to oust the Left and vote for BJP to bring change in Tripura.
