It is perhaps for the first time, no mosques of the state had witnessed mass gathering on the occasion Eid ul Fitr.
The important rituals were performed by few members of the mosque authorities maintaining social distancing and restrictions imposed in order to prevent the COVID spread.
Notably, Eid-ul-Fitr is one of the most important festivals of the minority community people of the state. The administration has also taken concerted steps in order to prevent any unnecessary gatherings.
All the local SDMs have convened round of meetings with locals and community leaders and persuaded them to follow the protocols laid down to prevent the COVID.
