Ahead of the festive season, the cabinet of the BJP-led coalition government in Tripura has given a nod for recruitment in 1267 various posts and also for creation of 193 new posts in various departments.
Briefing the reporters regarding the cabinet decision, Minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Friday informed that the cabinet meeting held on Thursday last under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha has decided appointment of 194 forest guards under the Forest Department. In addition to this, the cabinet has also decided to fill up 254 (Group C) posts of various categories under the state revenue department, he said, adding that the recruitment process will be commenced soon.
The 254 posts of different categories under the revenue department include – 14 Revenue Inspectors, 10 Junior Surveyors, 164 Tehsildars, 37 Mohras and 29 Amins. The Minister said that the Cabinet has decided to appoint 1 person on the post of Programmer (Group-B) Non-Gazetted and 2 people on the post of Assistant Programmer (Group-C Non-Gazetted) under the Department of Elections.
Recruitment of 12 Multitasking Staff (Peon) Group-D (Non-Technical) Posts under State Finance Department will also be made very shortly, he said, adding that 218 Sub-Inspector (Female & Male) will be recruited under the Home Department.
The minister also informed about several other recruitment in various government departments and said that the recruitment process will be commenced shortly, with the issuance of notification.
