The increase of Malaria affected patient at Gandacherra Hospital created a panic among the people of the subdivision. Sources said that the mostly people of the remote areas of subdivision are being affected by the disease.
The numbers of Malaria affected patients at Gandacherra Hospital is seven till today. Children and women are included among them. Information of more Malaria patients is also coming from remote areas. Specially the people of tribal section are being affected by the disease.
But the officials of the Health department have no initiative to combat the disease. About 3 to 4 doctors are managing the Hospital at present. It became impossible for them to provide health service to the entire subdivision.
Meanwhile a delegation of OBC Morcha under BJP Gandacherra Mandal led by President Nirmal Sarkar rushed to the hospital and got informed about the treatment of the patients. Sarkar said the workers of OBC Morcha would stay along with patients as long as they would not become cure.
