150 patients treated at Mega Eye Camp in Bagma

UDAIPUR:

A Mega Eye Camp organized at the premises of Samatal Para H.S. School with initiative of Former Student’s Reunion Committee of the school at South Bagma on the occasion of Republic Day. The committee was formed to unite the former students of the school.

MLA of 30 Bagma constituency Rampada Jamatia inaugurated the Mega Health Camp by lighting lamp. Among others Headmaster of the school Abhiram Debbarma, Assistant Headmaster Abul Kalam and chairman of NSS committee Bijan Sarkar were present on the occasion.

President of the Reunion Committee Digen Dey presided over the programme.

Speaking on the occasion MLA Rampada Jamatia stressed on taking care of eyes which is most precious asset of life. He made everyone aware to become fearless about cataract operation. Addressing the people of tribal community he said, the people of the section were afraid of operation earlier. But they have overcome the fear now.

The eminent eye specialist doctors provided medical service to 150 patients in the camp and cataract operation conducted to 12 patients.
