Altogether 10 members donated blood today in the blood donation camp organized by Neheru Yuba Kendra and Chawmanu Samaj Sangha at the hall of the club.
MDC of Chawmanu Champarai Aslang inaugurated the blood donation camp in the club at 10 a.m. President of Chawmanu Yuba Sangha delivered the welcome address.
During speech he explained the importance of blood donation and appealed the youths to come forward in the festival of social service. Besides, Incharge of Blood Bank in Dhalai district Dipankar Barman delivered speech on the occasion.
Teacher of Chawmanu School Gopal Das presided over the programme. During speech he opined that saving life of people is possible by whole hearted cooperation and blood donation of local club and social organization.
MDC Aslang appreciated the initiative of Chawmanu Samaj Sangha and Nehru Yuba Kendra. Official member of Dhalai District NYK Biplab Chakma anchored the programme.
