Statehood Day celebrated at Ambassa and Karbook

NUTAN BAZAR / AMBASSA:

Dhalai District based Statehood Day observed with initiative of Dhalai District Administration, Ambassa Subdivision Administration authority and ICA. The programme started through Sanhati Rally where students of different schools participated.

The rally started from Ambassa Motor stand and ended at Ambassa Town Hall after parading different streets.

Inaugurating the programme MLA Parimal Debbarma described the day as day of pride. He asserted that the government is working with a target to convert Tripura as model state in days to come.

ADM Dilip Kumar Chakma described the back ground of Statehood day. Besides, quiz competition among students and cultural programme organized on the occasion.

Our correspondent added from Nutan Bazar that 48th Statehood Day observed at Karbook subdivision with befitting respect. The central programme organized at Multipurpose Hall of Karbook subdivision.

Speaking on the occasion SDM Biswajit Paul described it as a memorable day for state people and explained the background of the Day. He appealed all to take forward the development work by maintaining peace and harmony. MLA Burba Mohan Tripura presided over the meeting.
