Security beefed up in Tripura as PM Modi to visit Tripura for BJP’s swearing in ceremony

AGARTALA:

In wake the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Chief Ministers of 20 states of the country visit to the state to attend the swearing in ceremony of the newly elected members of the Tripura legislative assembly – 2018, security has been beefed up in and around the state and especially in the bordering areas of the state.

Adequate enforcement for police and other paramilitary forces were deployed in and around the state especially in the bordering and vulnerable areas of the state, said police source today.

The source also added that the Border Security Forces (BSF) was directed to arrange red carpet from the PM Modi’s aircraft to the VIP enclosure and within it.

However, PM Modi along with the chief ministers of 20 states of the nation shall visit the state on Friday noon to attend the swearing in ceremonial programme at Agartala Assam Rifles’ ground where Biplab Kumar Deb will take oath as the next Chief Minister of Tripura followed by other 12 members’ cabinet.
