Second Division League Football: Kalyan Samiti defeats Friends

AGARTALA:

Kalyan Samiti today defeated Friends Union by 2-1 in the ongoing Second division league football tournament organized by Tripura Football association.

The match held today at Swami Vivekananda stadium where with this loss Friends Union faced the downfall while on the other hand UBST saved them luckily from this process.

In this match today Friends Union was advanced till the 89th minute of the match but a sudden storm in the last 2 minutes by Kalyan Samiti simply outplayed the former and thus Kalyan Samiti won the match by 2-1. With this lose Friends Union faced downfall as they have only 1 point from 7 matches as a win against Sai Sag in the last match will not save them.

From the start of the match today Friends Union played with dominance as in the 25th minute Starling Reang scored the opening goal. Till the 89th minute the lead has been grabbed by Friends but just before the end of the match Paya and Gobinda Sadhan Jamatia scored two back to back goals and thus in the end Kalyan Samiti won the match by 2-1.
