Rabisudha will organize Rabindra Sangeet Workshop at Agartala Press Club on January 23 as a part of Rabindra Utsav, 2018. It is the first initiative of the cultural group to organize such workshop.
Eminent Rabindra Sangeet singer Bibha Sengupta will conduct the workshop. On the occasion Rabisudha will felicitate the artist by offering her Ajiban Sukriti Samman. The workshop will continue from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Later a group of artists from Rabisudha will participate at a programme at Rabindra Sadan on January 29 in West Bengal. The artists will also participate at Barasat Municipality Hall on January 28 and at Santi Deb Ghosh auditorium of Gitanjali on January 31. The artists will stage a programme tilted ‘Rag o Rabi’. For the first time Rabisudha has taken initiative organize programme at Santiniketan and Sangeet Bhavan of Biswabharati.
Eminent Rabindra Sangeet singer Mohan Singh Khangura will inaugurate the programme and Rabisudha will felicitate him by offering Ajiban Sukriti Samman. Noted Rabindra Singer Swastika Mukhopadhyay will remain present as Chief Guest.
Among others Dr. Surajit Roy, Professor Sumit Basu and representative of Bolpur Sahitya Samsad will attend the programme. The organizers of the programme expected cooperation of all at Bangla Tripura Maitri Utsav, 2018.
