Police from Teliamura Police Station succeeded to arrest the dreadful terrorist of TNV Kasam Debbarma who kept himself in hide for long 33 years. His house is located at Sadukarkari village under Teliamura Police Station.
A case was filed against the arrested terrorist in 1985 under case number ST (T-P) 85/2001 u/s 148/149/302 of IPC 27 of Arms Act. But police failed to trace out him till last three decades. At last police succeeded to arrest him with the help of Intelligence department from Hrwankhal Bazar of Teliamura on the basis of secret information.
In a separate incident the owner along with local people succeeded to recover the stolen bike while police failed to recover the bike. Sources said that the bike (TR-01L-9997) of Sajal Sarkar, a resident of South Pulinpur was stolen from the premises of Baramura Eco Park on Sunday last. Police failed to recover the bike after filing complaint at Teliamura Police Station. At last the bike owner saw two tribal youths with his bike when he went for morning walk today. Immediately he caught the youths along with local people and handed over them to police. The arrested youths Malin Rupini (18) and Bikram Rupini (18) are the dwellers of Narayanbari of Baramura.
