New Saikar Youth Club lifted the title of the ongoing 4th Partha Pratim Das league cum knock out football tournament as in the final match today they defeated Rose Club of Lambucharra by 2-0.
The tournament with the initiative of Kamalpur Subdivision Robast Club came to an end today as the final match held at Kamalpur Government Degree college field.
In this 70 minutes match both the goals have been scored by Fela Darlong and Beisia Darlong in the second half of the match by the winning Saikar club.
At the end of the match MLA Bijaylaxmi Sinha handed over Rs 13,000 as prize money along with trophy to the winning Saikar club while the runners up trophy has been awarded to Rose Club by Subrata Bhattacharjee.
