Large numbers of Kidney Patients are suffering at Gomati and South and Sipahijala districts as dialysis machine went out of order at Gomati District Hospital.
Meanwhile the patients expressed their resentment as the authority has no initiative to repair the machine as it went out of order for last eight days. As a result the patients have to spent lot of money to come Agartala for dialysis at G.B. and a private hospital.
Sources said that large number of patients used to gather at Gomati District Hospital for dialysis from Amarpur, Karbook, Shilacherri, Santirbazar, Jolaibari, Belonia, Sabroom, Udaipur, Melaghar and Sonamura.
But the patients are bound to spend huge amount for transportation up to Agartala. Health minister Badal Choudhury inaugurated the Dialysis unit on August 15 this year.
