Amidst bee-storm gathering the saffron supporters from different corners of the state, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) nominated candidate for West Tripura constituency Pratima Bhowmik today submitted her nomination paper to the DM (West) Dr. Sandeep N Mahatme at his office chamber at Agartala.
Large number of saffron supporters along with the BJP state President Biplab Kumar Deb also the Chief Minister and other party leaders accompanied Bhowmik in a rally prior nomination paper submission today.
BJP general secretary Pratima Bhowmik would be contesting from West Tripura Parliamentary constituency while Rebati kumar Tripura would be taking the battle of ballot in East Tripura Lok Sabha seat.
However, the tug of war between BJP and its ally- IPFT continues to remain in place as both parties have adopted a rigid stand on the seat sharing deal for the Parliamentary elections.
