Mamata blames CPIM, Congress of BJP's victory in Tripura

AGARTALA:

The West Bengal Chief Minister and the Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banarjee ruled out the Saffron's victory in Tripura and blamed the Congress and the CPIM of their failure.

While speaking to a national media today, Mamata Banarjee blamed the CPIM behind BJP's victory and said, "The CPIM in Tripura has never opposed the BJP's conspiracies, but otherwise the win was not much big for the BJP as the CPIM scored well and there was simply a difference of 5 per cent in the total vote scored by both the BJP and CPIM."

She later blamed the Congress and said, "The Congress on the other has failed to maintain its base as the main opposition in Tripura and that lead the BJP gain the momentum."

She however said, "There is nothing to be enthusiased with the victory of BJP because as per the trend whoever sits in power at the centre, tries to capture the Northeastern region of the country."
