IGM hospital Agartala is all set to install the newly procured 128 slice CT Scan Unit within few months and the services are relatively expected to resume within few months.
The near about two crore rupees costing machine has already arrived in hospital compound. The authority of the hospital is very reflective to install the unit very shortly and the unit will be listed to be installed in the old access to the hospital.
Hospital sources informed, the date line is yet not fixed from when the services could be exactly kicked off but we are working day and night to make it convenient as soon as possible.
A few of the physicians are also need to be trained for being acquainted with the sophisticated machinery to operate, moreover, some assistance is also required from the implementing agencies to set up the unit.
Earlier on, the hospital has also introduced facility wise diagnosis in TMT from last year. The echo cardiology unit which was started few months earlier is also doing well as a diagnostic tool for the patients here. Sources also informed that Dr. Debasish Nath and Dr. Basudeb Bhattacharjee were also deputed for training in regard of Echocrdiac diagnosis for adults and pediatrics respectively.
Notably, Dr. Gopa Chatterjee (Pediatric) and Dr. Debesh Debbarma (adults) are posted in the concerned unit since the installation.
