With much enthusiasm and zeal, Hindi Diwas and Swachhta Pakhwada were observed in Jawarhar Navodaya Vidyalaya at Ramchandraghat on September 15. On the occasion the students of the Vidyalaya performed songs, dances and recitation.
The guests distributed prizes among the students on the occasion of Hindi Diwas and Swachhta Pakhwada. Social worker Joydeb Debbarma, Manager of SBI, Khowai Branch Subrata Chakraborty, four representatives of media and Incharge of Sepahijala JNV were present among the distinguished guests.
Speaking on the occasion Principal of the Jawhar Noboday Harabina T. said, “Constitution Assembly of India recognized Hindi as Government approved language in Devnagari letters on September 14 in 1949. Since then almost all educational institutions and other organs under Government of India observe the Day.”
She further added, “Swachhata Pakhawada introduced in April, 2016”. On the occasion all students received first, second and third prizes who participated in performances from September 1 to 14. On the occasion students of Sepahijala JNV were participated and guests were felicitated.
