Sonamura Divisional Committee of All Tripura Mid Day Meal Cook cum Helper and Organizer submitted a memorandum to Subdivision Inspector of School today with seven point charter of demand.
The demands are to increase salary and allowance of Cook cum helpers keeping parity with price hike, to increase the present salary up to Rs. 10,000 which is Rs. 1500 now, to provide salary to Cook cum Helpers for 12 months of the year instead of 10 months per year, to provide salary on first day of every month, to make the jobs of Cook cum Helpers permanent, to increase service age of Cook cum Helpers up to 60 years, to introduce salary for Organizers and to increase allotment for mid –day-meal.
