Tributes were poured in at the portrait of Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Friday at Tripura after his demise in New Delhi on Thursday, following a prolonged illness.
It is to be mentioned here that the BJP party office in Tripura along with BJP 8 Town Bordowali Mandal committee also poured in floral tribute at the portrait of Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
The end came at 5.05 pm when All India Institute of Medical Sciences announced that Vajpayee had died despite all efforts to save him. Admitted to AIIMS on June 11, he could not be discharged in the last nine weeks. His condition deteriorated over the last 36 hours and he was on life support. The first PM who had never been a Congress member, he will be cremated at 4 pm at Rashtriya Smriti Sthal between Shanti Van and Vijay Ghat.
Meanwhile the state government has announced one day holiday today and 7 day mourn in respect of Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
