Congress says BJP gives no 7th CPC, but simply a pay hike taking cue from Left

AGARTALA:

Senior Congress leader and former opposition leader Gopal Roy on Wednesday blamed the BJP-IPFT government and alleged that this government is fooling around in the name of implementation of the 7th CPC in the state.

Mr. Roy said that Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has simply took the cue from previous Chief Minister Manik Sarkar in the pay hike of just Rs. 2.57 per cent.

Mr. Roy addressing the press conference at Congress Bhawan on Wednesday said that there is no difference between the previous Left front and BJP-IPFT government now.

The Congress on Wednesday also questioned the state cabinet ministry of the BJP-IPFT government. Senior Congress leader and MLA Gopal Roy in his statement on Wednesday in a press conference termed the Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb unfit for the post.

Meantime Mr. Roy also said that despite 7 months have passed by ever since the BJP-IPFT has formed government; they were unable to constitute 12 members cabinet. Here is what he says.
