Acting of secret information a contingent of police led by SP of North District Bhanupada Chakraborty recovered 220 Kg ganja from 202 packets from a vehicle bearing number AS 01B0786 at Dharmanagar town today.
Police detained the car from Babur Bazar area when it was moving haphazardly in a suspicious manner at the town.
Meanwhile police arrested driver Amrit Das and Khalashi Manish Pal.
Sources said that police recovered 159 Kg ganja from 141 packets. Later 61packets recovered from inside the car after interrogation for 2 to 3 hours.
